When you feel confident, you fully accept yourself and believe in your own abilities & skills, thus enabling you to confront all the challenges your life may present. And when you have self confidence, you tend to have self esteem too!
When you don’t feel confident, you can become stressed, anxious, unfulfilled and ultimately unhappy … and life is too short for that!
Low self-confidence is something many of us suffer with and it can be the result of many varying factors, like fear of the unknown, low self-esteem and fear of other people’s perceptions. This lack of confidence can hold you back from developing both personally, spiritually and professionally.
Lack of confidence can stem from negative experiences in childhood or from significant difficult events in your adult life. If these negative experiences aren’t dealt with, they can seriously affect your levels of future achievement. Whilst it can be beneficial to pinpoint the initial sensitising event of the confidence problem, it isn’t necessary to dwell on it with hypnotherapy as the thought processes can be reprogrammed without having to keep going over and over the pain points, as with talking therapies. and use hypnotherapy for confidence to change negative thought processes.

Those with low self-esteem generally have low self-confidence too. However, some people with low self-esteem can have confidence in certain areas and those with high self-esteem may lack confidence in certain areas.
Having confidence in your abilities does not mean performing tasks perfectly. In fact, a big part of having self-confidence is knowing how to deal with mistakes when they occur.
